Our review policy has been written for book reviews only. If you’d like ReelBazaar to review something other than literature, then please use our contact form below and give us as much information as possible. Please be aware when requesting a review that we will always be one hundred percent honest so if you can’t handle genuine feedback then we very kindly suggest that we are not the website for you.
BOOK REVIEW POLICY
- We are currently only accepting print copies of books. Perhaps in the future we will look into e-arcs/copies but as of right now we’re not massive fans of reading electronically.
- We’re open to reviewing most genres however our primary interests are sci-fi, horror, contemporaries, thrillers, fantasy and romance in all age ranges from children’s picture books to middle grade, YA and adult literature.
- We’re not especially keen on historical fiction, anthologies or erotica but if we felt the book was suited to our site or we find the plot intriguing then we’d definitely give it a go with you being aware that they are not our preferred genres.
- Your book will be reviewed by either Tilly or John from the site depending on who the book interests more. It most likely will never be both of us but there may be some rare opportunities where that happens. We will also cross post a shortened version of our reviews on all our social media, our personal Goodreads accounts, Amazon and Waterstones if available.
- We will always try to respond to every review request even when we are unavailable to do a review.
- There is no specific time as to when your review will come out but we will always do our best to post a review within the month that we receive your book however please be aware that as of right now, this website is a passion project and both of us have work commitments outside of this.
- If for whatever reason, we are unable to finish your novel we will inform you as to why in a private email instead of posting a review however this is highly unlikely.
- Our reviews will always be honest regardless of the circumstances.
